Here an articulate mental health expert describes a variety of button-pushing patterns and their emotional dynamics. The rational perspective is comforting at first and allows some distance from the pain. But then the genial Dr. Townsend presses listeners to understand their own reactions and do something. He's a clever writer and enjoyable to hear in spite of occasional indulgences in intellectual wheel-spinning. The morality of Christianity is obvious, but the stronger influences are the secular themes of self-scrutiny, honesty, and accountability. A key lesson is the author's advice on how to talk with troublemakers about their behavior, once insight about the dynamics has been gained. With so many options to choose from, why is losing weight and getting in great shape such a struggle? Because it's not about diets, it's about lifestyle patterns. Three new patterns need to be installed for successful weight loss: eat less, eat better and exercise more. That's it!!!

Inside/Outside - Motivational Weight Loss Program utilizes Dr. Lloyd Glauberman's revolutionary HPP method to program your unconscious mind to make lifestyle changes. This method "short circuits" overeating and installs more appropriate eating patterns that follow the normal rhythms of your hunger cycle. You will stay motivated and disciplined while developing a more positive self image.

You will find yourself easily eating less, eating better and exercising more. You might even find yourself working out that extra day at the gym - not because you are forcing yourself to, but because you want to.

Remove the unconscious barriers to losing weight and getting fit, and make the life changes you have always wanted with Inside/Outside.

CD1
Track 1: Motivation
Track 2: Discipline

CD2
Track 1: Life-Style Changes
Track 2: Exercise
Rapidshare Links
part 1 | part 2

Easy-share Links
part 1 | part 2

Password
rapidaudio.blogspot.com
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-963723248237864866.post-69108095202828180392007-08-22T22:50:00.000-07:002007-08-23T06:36:50.635-07:00A Briefer History of Time
A Briefer History of Time
Stephen Hawking, Leonard Mlodinow and Erik Davies
Random House Audio | 2007 | ISBN: 0739321870 | 120 MB 64kbps

Description

Starred Review. In the 17 years since the publication of A Brief History of Time, Dr. Hawking's bestselling exposition of physics, new data from particle physics and observational astronomy have shed light on efforts to find a Grand Unified Theory of Everything that Hawking and Mlodinow use to enhance and update their answers to basic questions about the universe: where it's going and how it began. Discussed at length are the mysterious dark matter and dark energy-both of which can only be observed by their gravitational effects and are believed to make up 90 percent of the universe. Another area of research that has exploded in the past 20 years is string theory. Hawking and Mlodinow provide one of the most lucid discussions of this complex topic ever written for a general audience. Readers will come away with an excellent understanding of the apparent contradictions and conundrums at the forefront of contemporary physics. Recognizing that much of their audience will also be science fiction buffs, they include a chapter on the possibility of time travel. "Don't bet on it," the authors advise. Throughout these discussions, the authors maintain the same wry, lively tone that made the original Brief History such a delight. They close with a discussion of where physics ends and philosophy begins, "Why does the universe exist at all?" They cannot provide the answer, but they do provide an immense amount of food for thought. Highly recommended.

Rapidshare Links
http://rapidshare.com/files/50268042/A_Briefer_History_of_Time.part1.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/50268664/A_Briefer_History_of_Time.part2.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/50269842/A_Briefer_History_of_Time.part3.rar

Easy-share Links
http://w14.easy-share.com/3774871.html
http://w13.easy-share.com/3774881.html
http://w13.easy-share.com/3774891.html

Password for all archives:
rapidaudio.blogspot.com

All parts are interchangeable.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-963723248237864866.post-68279492264926567842007-08-21T04:38:00.000-07:002007-08-21T04:48:53.680-07:00Icebound
Dean Koontz, "Icebound Audio CD Unabridged"
Random House Audio | 2007 | ISBN: 0739341413 | 239 MB | 7 CD | 64kbps

Book Description:

The arctic night is endless. I've been a Stephen King fan for years but I was never really tempted to try Koontz. I use them as my "bedtime stories". It's a great way to squeeze in extra books and they're great entertainment.

I'm picking up every single one that I can find so I'm getting my Koontz education fairly quickly. Icebound was really well done with good narration. I never thought I'd enjoy listening to books on tape as much as I do. If you haven't tried them, I'd encourage you to pick up a few. This man learned from the best in the marketing industry, people who influenced millions to spend billions. He truly understands what is needed to create the drive inside of you to CAUSE action.

I say CAUSE because if you follow the program dilligently, and listen actively, you wont have to MAKE yourself take action. It will just happen as a natural process of your new thinking. Heres an example;

I always wanted to hit the gym. Im a skinny guy, and I know that working out will give me more energy and muscle. After reading the first two chapters, I stopped and did every exercise, answered every question he mentioned. This took me an hour, and at the end of the hour I literally got up and went to the gym.

Im not big on hype, but if you really want to change your life pick this book up. It contains helpful ideas, practical insights, and proven principles for managers. The primary areas the tapes cover include empowering people effectively, running meetings efficiently, and delegating projects productively. In listening to the tapes I realized deficiencies in my own management skills and was given practical ways to improve. Unlike some audio books narrators, Michael Podolinsky does an outstanding job of keeping the material interesting and of keeping your mind engaged in what he's discussing. The program also comes complete with a handy pocket guide. If you're looking for stimulation and information to improve your management skills I recommend "Smart Leadership."

Rapidshare Link
http://rapidshare.com/files/49972400/Michael_Podolinsky_-_Smart_Leadership.rar

Easyshare Link
http://w14.easy-share.com/3587111.html

Password for all archives:
rapidaudio.blogspot.com
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-963723248237864866.post-85923039841029778352007-08-19T17:32:00.000-07:002007-08-19T17:38:12.220-07:00Developing the Leader Within You

Developing the Leader Within You
John C. Now, in this landmark recording, this revered researcher speaks about her largely private revelations, observations, and conclusions on life after death. Dr. Kübler-Ross, the first scientist to embark upon a genuine inquiry on the similarities between near-death experiences of people all over the world, gathered empirical data and personal impressions from countless studies that informed her opinions on what awaits us all when we leave this life. From her family archives comes a rare published audio of this trailblazing author speaking in her own words, as she engages the oldest question of all: Is There Life After Death?

Rapidshare Links
http://rapidshare.com/files/49962876/Is_there_life_after_death.part1.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/49977905/Is_there_life_after_death.part2.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/49979280/Is_there_life_after_death.part3.rar

Easyshare Links
http://w14.easy-share.com/3587061.html
http://w14.easy-share.com/3587081.html
http://w14.easy-share.com/3587091.html

Password for all Archives
rapidaudio.blogspot.com

The parts are interchangeable.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-963723248237864866.post-63419526683152807552007-08-18T23:30:00.000-07:002007-08-18T23:38:22.890-07:00Deep Learning

Deep Learning
Brain Sync
82 MB - 192kbps - ISBN: 1881451925- Amazon Rating: 4.5/5

Description

Improve memory & concentration Absorb, retain, and recall information Expand awareness and increase creativity Do you ever wonder why as children we learn more in our first few years of life? The answer lies in the mysterious and elusive Theta brain wave state. Up until the age of six, children are predominantly in Theta. This frequency allows the brain to absorb and retain massive amounts of information that gets stored in long-term memory. You can restore this magical ability through daily Theta brain wave training. When you need to study and assimilate new information, slip on your headphones, relax and listen to Deep Learning. Within minutes, memory receptors are gently stimulated as precision-engineered frequencies shift your brain into perfect balance. In this state of heightened receptivity, the clarity and speed with which you can concentrate, study, and integrate and store information is profoundly improved. Theta brain waves are associated with long-term-potentiation. Use Deep Learning For: Super learning Receiving inner direction and insights Self-hypnosis Behavior modification Improving Memory Instructions for listening: Listen to this program daily for either thirty or sixty minutes a day to train your brain to develop more Theta activity. Regular use will enhance overall mental performance. Here are three ways to use Deep Learning. Experiment to explore which way works best for you and your needs. 1. Thirty minutes before studying, lie down, close your eyes and listen to Deep Learning. This will prepare your brain for absorbing new information. 2. Or, listen to Deep Learning while you study. 3. Listen to Deep Learning to relax, unwind or meditate. After regular use you ll notice a dramatic increase in your ability to retain and retrieve information. What You Can Expect: Increased creativity Improved memory Enhanced ability to focus and concentrate Greater clarity of thought Expanded awareness

Rapidshare Links
http://rapidshare.com/files/49330868/Deep-Learning.part1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/49331960/Deep-Learning.part2.rar

Easy-share Links
http://w14.easy-share.com/3559381.html
http://w14.easy-share.com/3559391.html
http://w14.easy-share.com/3559401.html

Password for all Archives:
rapidaudio.blogspot.com

The parts are NOT interchangeable.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-963723248237864866.post-54256646015478869082007-08-18T23:23:00.000-07:002007-08-18T23:30:46.865-07:00The Definitive Book of Body Language

The Definitive Book of Body Language
Allan Pease & Barbara Pease
75 MB - 64kbps - ISBN: 0752865978 - Amazon Rating: 4.5/5

Description

Available for the first time in the United States, this international bestseller reveals the secrets of nonverbal communication to give you confidence and control in any face-to-face encounter–from making a great first impression and acing a job interview to finding the right partner.

It is a scientific fact that people’s gestures give away their true intentions. And if they do it right, we believe them. We believe that wine tastes better in a $20 glass than a $1 glass. We believe that an $80,000 Porsche Cayenne is vastly superior to a $36,000 VW Touareg, which is virtually the same car. We believe that $225 Pumas will make our feet feel better, and look cooler, than $20 no-names...and believing it makes it true.

Successful marketers don't talk about features or even benefits. Instead, they tell a story. A story we want to believe.

This is a book about doing what consumers demand; painting vivid pictures that they choose to believe. Every organization, from nonprofits to car companies, from political campaigns to wineglass blowers, must understand that the rules have changed (again). In an economy where the richest have an infinite number of choices (and no time to make them), every organization is a marketer and all marketing is about telling stories.

Marketers succeed when they tell us a story that fits our worldview, a story that we intuitively embrace and then share with our friends. Think of the Dyson vacuum cleaner or the iPod.

But beware: If your stories are inauthentic, you cross the line from fib to fraud. Marketers fail when they are selfish and scurrilous, when they abuse the tools of their trade and make the world worse. That's a lesson learned the hard way by telemarketers and Marlboro.

This is a powerful book for anyone who wants to create things people truly want as opposed to commodities that people merely need.

Rapidshare Links
http://rapidshare.com/files/49476337/All_marketers_are_liars.part1.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/49477300/All_marketers_are_liars.part2.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/49478029/All_marketers_are_liars.part3.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/49478201/All_marketers_are_liars.part4.rar

Easy-share Links
http://w13.easy-share.com/3517411.html
http://w13.easy-share.com/3517421.html
http://w13.easy-share.com/3517431.html
http://w13.easy-share.com/3517441.html

Password for all archives:
rapidaudio.blogspot.com

All parts are interchangeable.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-963723248237864866.post-71670081264585322112007-08-18T04:27:00.000-07:002007-08-18T04:41:02.101-07:00The Ultimate Secrets of Total Self-Confidence
The Ultimate Secrets of Total Self-Confidence
Dr. Robert Anthony
100 MB - 80kbps - ISBN: 1600370179 - Amazon Rating: 4/5

Description

Now you can join the thousands of successful people who have mastered the principles of Total Self-Confidence. Focusing on those with a net worth of at least $1 million, their surprising results reveal fundamental qualities of this group that are diametrically opposed to today's earn-and-consume culture, including living below their means, allocating funds efficiently in ways that build wealth, ignoring conspicuous consumption, being proficient in targeting marketing opportunities, and choosing the "right" occupation. It's evident that anyone can accumulate wealth, if they are disciplined enough, determined to persevere, and have the merest of luck. In The Millionaire Mind, an excellent follow-up to the highly successful first analysis of how ordinary folks can accumulate wealth, Stanley interviews many more participants in a much more comprehensive study of the characteristics of those in this economic situation. The author structures these deeper details into categories that include the key success factors that define this group, the relationship of education to their success, their approach to balancing risk, how they located themselves in their work, their choice of spouse, how they live their daily lives, and the significant differences in the truth about this group vs. the misplaced image of high spenders. Narrator Smith's solid, dead-on reading never fails to heighten the importance of these principles that most twentysomethings should be forced to listen to in toto. Highly recommended for all public libraries.

Rapidshare Mirror
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4

Easy-share Mirror
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4

Password for all archives:
rapidaudio.blogspot.com

Links interchangable.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-963723248237864866.post-17017829515227741812007-08-17T02:24:00.000-07:002007-08-17T07:33:27.416-07:00The One Minute Millionaire
The One Minute Millionaire
Mark Victor Hansen & Robert G. Uniquely organized, THE ONE MINUTE MILLIONAIRE combines fiction and nonfiction to show the way to true wealth. The right-hand pages contain a fable about a woman faced with a terrible dilemma Michelle must earn a million dollars in 90 days to keep her family together. On the opposite page, complementing the fable point for point, are brilliant nuts-and-bolts millionaire minutes; summaries of attitudes, strategies, and techniques for building wealth, lessons Michelle needs to act upon to reach her goal. By bringing these right-and-left brain approaches together, Hansen and Allen show how to overcome fears and doubts and leap over the roadblocks that limit potential. Both authors have earned multiple millions through their careers. With THE ONE MINUTE MILLIONAIRE they want to share their knowledge to bring out the enlightened millionaire they believe exists in everyone.

Rapidshare Links
Part 1 | Part 2

Easy-share Links
Part 1 | Part 2

Password for all archives:
rapidaudio.blogspot.com

All parts are interchangable.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-963723248237864866.post-73821619401265962072007-08-16T16:52:00.000-07:002007-08-17T07:07:08.185-07:00The Magic of Thinking Big
The Magic of Thinking Big
David J.Schwartz
6.04 MB - 16kbps - Duration: approx. 53 minutes - ISBN: 0743529030 - Amazon Rating: 4.5/5

Discription
Millions of people throughout the world have improved their lives using The Magic of Thinking Big. Dr. David J. Through extensive intonation and pronunciation exercises, students learn how to speak with a standard American Accent. At the same time, listening comprehension improves dramatically. Supplementary materials included detailed nationality guides for eight languages (Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Spanish, French, German, Russian and Korean), access to a comprehensive website, and referral to a qualified telephone analyst for an individual diagnostic speech analysis.

Reviews

This is the most amazing accent training book/program that I have received! Being a English as Second Language (ESL) student I have been exposed to various learning programs of speaking, but no books, even many ESL teachers, can be as clear and effective as Ann Cook's work. This book provides a very comprehensive course to help me adapt my accent. It takes much time to practice and listen to CD, but all my time are well invested. Highly recommended!

By W (Tainan, Taiwan)

Download
Part 1 | Part 2

Password
rapidaudio.blogspot.com

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-963723248237864866.post-52762373142013127802007-08-16T01:11:00.000-07:002007-08-16T01:46:07.499-07:00101 Great Answers to the Toughest Interview Questions
101 Great Answers to the Toughest Interview Questions: Third Edition
Ron Fry
124MB - 96kbps - Duration: 3 hours - ISBN: 1565111451 - Amazon Rating: 4.5/5

Description

With the gates wide open flooding more employment-seeking individuals than ever out on the street, now comes your personal coach to assure the best possible success. Author Ron Fry trains the listener to plan ahead to succeed....His role-playing examples are clear, concise and designed to polish your rhetoric arsenal as you navigate through any interview. In this task-oriented training tape, Fry's advice is skillfully administered to the listener and is easily adaptable to employment and interview opportunities. Finally, a guide that makes sense.

Reviews

This book can rehabilitate you and may indeed place you where you'd like to be. I have been on both sides of the interview process over many years and it's amazing, in retrospect, that I've managed to work or have any decent employees. From the most basic preparation, (something I've never done- except to fret over my outfit,) to practicing, seems like a no brainer- I speak for myself.
EVERYBODY knows you're not suppossed to dis a past employer, right? I've known that for years, and I just did it last week. I knew when I was doing it, that it was wrong; but I couldn't dig my way into a more positive response. In fact, that's why I bought the book. Fry takes you around those stumbling blocks with a variety of approaches, even with regard to keeping a flow in the facts that you are putting forth.

Of course, you have to do the work. As with every manual, it isn't a novel, it's behavior, and practice, not how well, (again, in my case,) you `understand' it.
You can't go wrong with the material here. It's sound, it's been tested and it's completely common sensical- it just doesn't come by osmosis. Do it, it helps. Good luck.

By L.Dann "adhdmom" (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania United States)

Download

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3

Password
rapidaudio.blogspot.comUnknownnoreply@blogger.com4
