Enjoyable Audiobook

I'm surprised it took me so long to get around to trying Koontz. I've been a Stephen King fan for years but I was never really tempted to try Koontz. I'm so happy that I finally got around to picking up a few of his books because I can't get enough of him now.

I've really been enjoying listening to his books on CD and MP3. I use them as my "bedtime stories". It's a great way to squeeze in extra books and they're great entertainment.

I'm picking up every single one that I can find so I'm getting my Koontz education fairly quickly. Icebound was really well done with good narration. I never thought I'd enjoy listening to books on tape as much as I do. If you haven't tried them, I'd encourage you to pick up a few. A good narrator makes all the difference!

THE Missing Link

If you have done a lot of self help, and didnt take any action get this book. This man learned from the best in the marketing industry, people who influenced millions to spend billions. He truly understands what is needed to create the drive inside of you to CAUSE action.

I say CAUSE because if you follow the program dilligently, and listen actively, you wont have to MAKE yourself take action. It will just happen as a natural process of your new thinking. Heres an example;

I always wanted to hit the gym. Im a skinny guy, and I know that working out will give me more energy and muscle. After reading the first two chapters, I stopped and did every exercise, answered every question he mentioned. This took me an hour, and at the end of the hour I literally got up and went to the gym.

Im not big on hype, but if you really want to change your life pick this book up. Its filled with ideas that will shift your reality far beyond what you thought was ever possible for you.

Unlike some audio books narrators, Michael Podolinsky does an outstanding job of keeping the material interesting and of keeping your mind engaged in what he's discussing. The program also comes complete with a handy pocket guide. If you're looking for stimulation and information to improve your management skills I recommend "Smart Leadership."

This book can rehabilitate you and may indeed place you where you'd like to be. I have been on both sides of the interview process over many years and it's amazing, in retrospect, that I've managed to work or have any decent employees. From the most basic preparation, (something I've never done- except to fret over my outfit,) to practicing, seems like a no brainer- I speak for myself.

EVERYBODY knows you're not suppossed to dis a past employer, right? I've known that for years, and I just did it last week. I knew when I was doing it, that it was wrong; but I couldn't dig my way into a more positive response. In fact, that's why I bought the book. Fry takes you around those stumbling blocks with a variety of approaches, even with regard to keeping a flow in the facts that you are putting forth.

Of course, you have to do the work. As with every manual, it isn't a novel, it's behavior, and practice, not how well, (again, in my case,) you `understand' it.

You can't go wrong with the material here. It's sound, it's been tested and it's completely common sensical- it just doesn't come by osmosis. Do it, it helps. Good luck.
